Sugar Snap is a vigorous variety that produces 3 inch pods filled with sweet, flavorful peas. Vines average 72in and require trellising. Sugar Snap yields an extended harvest, longer than many other varieties. Sow 2 or 3 times every 7-14 days for a larger harvest. Enjoy in a variety of dishes, or pick and eat fresh from the vine!
Growing Instructions:
Direct sow:
In spring as soon as soil can be worked or in early fall when temperatures cool.
Plant seeds seeds 1 inch deep about 2 inches apart.
Keep soil evenly moist but not overly wet.
Do not thin after germination.
Vines will grow 6-8ft so trellises or other support is required.
Trellising at sowing time is recommended.
