This iconic habanero is bright orange, blocky and wrinkled and measures 1-2in in length. It's very hot, coming in at 215,000 on the Scoville scale. They are ripe when they turn from green to orange, but they are very hot and flavorful during their green phase. Habaneros require lot of sun and heat to ripen, and will provide an abundant harvest of fruit late in the season.
