Vienna Kohlrabi is stand-out in the garden with its unusually shaped bright purple bulbs that sit just above the soil. Harvest bulbs at around 2-3 inches for best tenderness. This is a good variety for containers and small spaces. Leaves can also be consumed and are similar to kale or spinach. Sow in the early spring or late summer for a fall harvest.
